Nora, Teo and Elisa had keys. All three produce evidence of their whereabouts; none seems to leave room for a theft. The audience has already started applauding.

One of these three people personally removed the star, without accomplices. No keys were lent. Records and checks are reliable; statements may be lies. There were no automatic openings.

01A single opening
Before the discovery, the sensor records just one opening, from 21:14:00 to 21:14:10 in real time. The star was inside immediately beforehand and missing when the door closed. The sensor’s clock is accurate.
02The clock check
The stage clock is seven minutes fast. The bar till is four minutes slow. The camera in the projection booth shows the correct time.
03Nora’s video
Nora stays on stage while its clock advances from 21:20 to 21:22. The footage is continuous and she remains visible throughout.
04Elisa’s camera
Elisa appears continuously in the projection booth from 21:13 to 21:15. The cupboard cannot be reached from there.
05Teo’s coffee
The receipt is genuine and shows 21:14 according to the till’s clock. Walking from the cupboard to the bar takes twenty seconds.
