The scene
Puppet Theatre · Store roomThe lead puppet has left the theatre inside a transport box. Four identical boxes were loaded into a van in four turns. Each box bore a different label: moon, sun, wave or leaf.
The moon box contained the puppet. Nobody remembers its turn, but several receipts preserve relationships between the loads. Three assistants made the four movements: one person worked twice.
What we know for certain
One of these three people personally loaded the moon box without help. Exactly one box was loaded on each turn; no boxes were opened or labels exchanged. Each of the four labels appears once. Receipts and records are correct.

01The leaf load
The leaf was loaded immediately after the moon, with no turn between them.
02The sun load
The sun was loaded before the moon, although the receipt does not say they were consecutive.
03The wave load
The wave was neither the first nor the last box. The check refers to its turn, not its position inside the van.
04The four turns
Mina took the first turn; Olga the third. Néstor took the second and fourth. Nobody took part in another person’s turn.
05The missing puppet’s box
A packing photograph shows the puppet inside the moon box. It was not removed before loading.
