The scene
Island Museum · Landing stageA telescope disappears from a museum on an island. It could only have been removed between two visits by the guard. Three visitors arrived on different boats and returned to the harbour.
The receipts show departures, not arrivals. You must add the journey to the museum and reserve enough time to get back before the return boat leaves.
What we know for certain
One of these people removed the telescope alone. They needed to be continuously inside the museum for four minutes between 12:00 and 12:10. They used only their recorded boats. There were no shortcuts, accomplices or private vessels.

01Time on the water
Every crossing takes exactly six minutes, both to the island and back. The outward ticket shows departure from the harbour; the return ticket shows departure from the island.
02The path to the room
Going from the island’s landing stage to the museum takes at least two minutes, and returning takes another two. There is no other access to the building.
