A movement test produced no sound. The information sheets describe the pockets and explain which would hold the bell still under those conditions.
What we know for certain
One of these people put the bell in their own bag, without help. They used its only available inside pocket and added no wrapping. The bell works, and the test was performed exactly as described. Nobody exchanged bags.

01The bell test
A previous trial confirms that the bell always rings when shaken freely in this way. Only the described padded holder keeps it completely still.
02The recorded sound
The bag containing the bell makes no jingling sound during the test. The microphone works and the room is silent.
03Wanda’s pocket
The mesh pouch is much larger than the bell and lets it move freely. It has no straps or padding.
04Xavi’s pocket
It has a padded holder exactly the bell’s size, keeping it still when pushed all the way in.
05Yasmina’s pocket
It is rigid and spacious. The bell is free to move inside, and the bag does not muffle the test sound.
