All three technicians wore work boots. The painter photographed the mark before cleaning it and asked each person to make a print of their sole on a test sheet.
What we know for certain
One of the three people made the print with their own boots. They neither changed footwear nor lent their boots to anyone during the work. The backdrop's print is complete, and all test prints were made with the same boots worn that day.
