Three staff members received different positions. Each letter identifies a place on the floor, not a permanently assigned box.
What we know for certain
One staff member opened the box they received and removed the compass. Nobody opened boxes before distribution. Afterwards, there were no exchanges, accomplices or additional movements. The letters A, B and C mark fixed positions on the floor.

01The starting point
The blue marker and the compass were initially at position C. The other two boxes contained no exhibition object.
02The conveyor rotation
The conveyor moved every box simultaneously: A went to B, B went to C and C went to A. It made only that rotation.
03The manual correction
After the conveyor stopped, the boxes then at A and C were swapped. The box at B remained still.
04The collection stations
Elena received C, Félix received A and Gala received B, always after the manual correction and without changing stations.
05The sealed boxes
The seals were broken for the first time at the collection stations. The blue box's seal was intact during both movements.
