01The surviving ticket
The opening in which the medal was taken produced the two-digit code 12. The ticket is complete and was printed without errors.
02The first operation
The machine adds two to the operator’s number. This is the first step, before any multiplication.
03The second and third operations
It then multiplies the result by three. Finally, it reverses the product’s two digits and prints them in that new order.
